INFORMATION FOR RATING COMMISSIONERS

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS mean defending our freedoms.

The current Pike County Commissioners supported the implementation of illegal COVID restrictions.  Additionally, the Commissioners issued a press release in reference to January 6th without any information about what actually took place that day.

 

MEDICAL FREEDOMS

The Commissioners pushed an experimental vaccine on all the residents of Pike County and did not do their homework by supporting and marketing the "Vaxxed to the Max" campaign. They put the life of Pike County residents at risk.

 

ELECTION INTEGRITY

Working on securing the accuracy of the elections in Pike County while ignoring the fraud at the state level or national level is not responsible.

In 2022, irregularities took place in Luzerne County, affecting the election of our US Congressman. The Pike County Commissioners were silent. Defending election integrity requires standing against fraud and/or examining possible sabotage.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

The Pike County Commissioners have the authority to defend projects that may impede on our environment.  Examples are the Mega Warehouse proposal, the Shawnee Walker Transmission Project, and not defending the nationalizing of our parks.

 

LOWERING TAXES

The current Pike County Commissioners have raised taxes four times during their tenure. When this issue was brought up at the Blooming Grove Meet & Greet Event on April 19th, 2023, Ostenberg was quoted as saying "I am proud to have raised taxes four times."

INFORMATION FOR RATING SCHOOL BOARD DIRECTORS

EDUCATION

The current schoolboard directors at both the Delaware Valley School District and the Wallenpaupack Area School District do not support parental rights as proven by limiting free speech and not answering questions. Neither school district will implement a policy to review age appropriate content. Further, school board members are promoting Social Emotional Learning as part of the Critical Race Theory agenda.
